The blank for the tail fairing was too long for my small bending brake, so I formed the flanges using the "clamp it to the edge of the bench and gently hammer the bend over the edge" method. I then formed the bend by pushing the blank over a 2" diameter pipe. Small increments and taking my time resulted in a nice fitting part.
A couple of things to note. The position of the upper forward screw estimated from the print will put the screw at the T08-07 vertical stabilizer forward spar fitting. I moved the screw forward to avoid the spar fitting. The forward part of the lower flange could be left extended to fit under the skin if there is a gap. I think it would look neater that way. I'll try that on the right side fairing .
